Luminous pendulums move at different rhythms. Waves appear, separate, and briefly meet along one line before drifting apart again.
Fine arcs trace recent motion. Selected center crossings trigger the original bell score, connecting what you see to what you hear.
Look closer: the mathematics
Twenty-eight independently prescribed harmonic oscillators follow theta_i(t) = 0.76 sin(2 pi (8+i)t/16), for i = 0 to 27. All pass through the center at 0, 8 and 16 seconds; the full state repeats after 16 seconds. These are authored motions, not a gravity simulation or emergent synchronization. Color, material and equal drawn lengths are expressive choices.
